A bit of Story
Hi, I’m Krista, and welcome to Sweetbriar Goods!
I grew up in this community and raised my family on the same farm where my roots run deep. Sweetbriar is inspired by generations of hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, and we’re proud to support local Canadian makers, especially small, women‑owned businesses, with eco‑friendly, handmade, and responsibly sourced products.
The name Sweetbriar, meaning wild rose, is also a tribute to my Granny, who dreamed of opening a teahouse called The Wild Rose and Thistle. Her vintage wild rose and thistle teacups are displayed in the shop, a small nod to her legacy.
